Jake started out in a dusty loft above a publishing house in Chichester, directing martial arts training DVDs, and has been trying to live it down ever since. After a YDA at Cannes, opening the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase, a viral film with poet Hollie McNish, and many years of commercials for brands who thankfully never ask about the martial arts DVDs, he's finally starting to feel like a real director. Almost. He loves ugly beauty, dry comedy, and characters who are trying their best. Based in East London. Has a cat called Peanut.
